Ulster Festival Billboard

Our lovely placement student Alice McKee has been an invaluable member of our team throughout the year. She has worked tirelessly for the greater good and an example of her excellence will soon be visible for all to see and appreciate.
Alice has designed the promotional billboard poster for the 'Ulster festival of art and design' and twelve of these posters will brighten up Belfast and the surrounding area in the very near future.
Alice's inspired imagery will undoubtedly stimulate the general public to become involved in the various events available in this years outstanding festival programme.
Hand-ins under way

Packaging: Amy McAuley - Year 2
May is a particularly busy month for staff and students alike with hand-ins looming for first, second and third year students. The atmosphere is one of relief mixed with panic as students pull out all the stops for the final push.
A few white faces evidence the necessity of burning the midnight oil and that's not just the students as staff also have the returning placement students to include in the long assessment list.
I'm sure it will be all right on the night!
Wonderful Wayfinding

Third year student Helen Bell's wayfinding solution has been selected for this years degree shows. Helen has worked closely with both our team in Visual Communication and the hard-working team at Cultural Development to produce a dynamic design solution.
The concept which is based on speech bubbles combines form and function in an aesthetically pleasing colour co-ordinated system. This directional signage offers clarity with style.
