First year trip to Paris

Staff members Christine and Pat had the enviable task of organizing and escorting the first year students to 'gay Paree' for a cultural feast.
The trip was a huge success and all enjoyed not only the social aspect but also the wealth of visual culture available. The galleries, architecture, exhibitions and french life-style informed and inspired our travelers.
All were particularly impressed by the amazing exhibition by Antoine+Manuel (you can find them here: antoineetmanuel.com) and look forward to a return trip.
Second year trip to Berlin

The second year student trip to Berlin proved to be an 'awesome experience'. Liam and Richard were the lucky staff who accompanied the students to this great city and all enjoyed its cultural heritage, diverse design and of course its social life.
The bicycle was the elected mode of transport and many miles were clocked up as they explored all on offer. Their 'must do' recommendations include the Bauhaus Archive Museum of Design and The Jewish Museum. Much has been written about architect Daniel Libeskinds' concept for this museum and while all were eager to visit it they had underestimated the emotive impact of this experience.
Hope I get to go next time!!
